The Author

Elizabeth Fritz is a veteran music educator, currently in her 20th year of teaching. She has been part of a successful band program in Decorah, Iowa for the past 16 years. Originally from Southern California, she received her BME degree from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Educational Technology from Boise State University.

Ms. Fritz is also very involved with several committee projects within the Iowa Bandmasters Association, including the Iowa Comprehensive Music Project and Music Mentors of Iowa, which she chairs. She considers her interest in integrating technology with the music curriculum one of her passions, after her husband Jim, and daughter Dee.
