Unit 3 Goal
- The integration of other curricular areas into the music curriculum is a priority.
Using specific curriculum guides, teacher will infuse instructional strategies for visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners that are student-centered and interdisciplinary to enhance the creative learning process.
The outcome of this lesson will be:
- the creation of strategies for various kinds of learners, (related to the selected piece of music from Unit One)
- which are student-centered and interdisciplinary
- to use in the creation of a comprehensive music plan.
Lesson 3.1: Identifying Teaching Strategies
By using multiple teaching strategies in a lesson, the learner should be able to identify a minimum of three teaching strategies and will show knowledge of the importance of using a variety of teaching strategies.
Written discussion on teaching strategies, using descriptive samples. Comparing and contrasting the importance of different teaching strategies
Learner will describe by comparing and contrasting three specific teaching strategies in written form. Learner will identify multiple teaching strategies as possible strategies for their music selection from Unit one.
